Dr. Hena N. N. is a psychologist with over two decades of experience in teaching, training, research, and project management across the domains of mental health, disability rehabilitation, inclusive development, and Comprehensive Sexuality Education. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kerala, and brings extensive experience working across academic, governmental, corporate, and community mental health settings.
Dr. Hena has been professionally associated with leading institutions including the National Centre for Assistive Health Technologies (IIT Madras), the Inter-University Centre for Disability Studies (IUCDS), Mahatma Gandhi University, and the Kerala Institute of Local Administration (KILA). She is the Co-Founder of SEK Foundation and the Founder Director of INLY Tech Global Private Limited, actively contributing to initiatives that promote inclusive mental health practices and equitable systems.
Her areas of expertise include Comprehensive Sexuality Education, gender equity, queer-affirmative mental health care, disaster mental health, Psychological First Aid, POSH compliance, and capacity building for inclusive development. She works closely with organisations and institutions as a consultant and trainer in mental health, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), psychosocial care, and organisational well-being.
Dr. Hena’s work bridges research, policy, and practice through an evidence-informed and rights-based approach. She has been invited as a speaker and presenter at several national and international conferences and has contributed to public discourse through podcasts, expert panels, and media interviews on leading platforms.
Her professional engagement focuses on strengthening institutional frameworks through training, consultation, and advisory services that foster resilience, empathy, and inclusive leadership in workplaces and communities.
